'Colour Renovation' has been inspired through customer feedback and monitoring trends over the last few years. The new colour palette is organized into four collections: Subtles, Brights, Regals, and Neutrals. You will see 25 of our current colours remaining, and fifteen new colours will be added to the core colour lines. (Kraft fans - don't panic! Kraft will now be known as Crumb Cake and will be part of the core colours!)
In addition to the Colour Collections containing 40 colours - there will also be In Colours! 5 new on trend colours added each year, that stay available for a period of 2 years before being retired. In October 2010 the first 5 of these 'In Colours' will be introduced in the new catalogue, these colours will remain current for 2 years. In the 2011 catalogue a further 5 In Colours will be introduced again to remain current for 2 years - bringing the total up to 10. Every year thereafter there will be 5 In Colours retiring and 5 NEW In Colours taking their place - so at any one time you will have a choice of 50 colours - 40 core colours and 10 that change with trends and fashion to keep your choices current and fresh.
These changes will be made right across the board with all Stampin' Up! card, papers, inks, pens, chalks, crayons, ribbons, embellishments and accessories to bring you the full colour coordinated experience you have come to love - exciting times ahead with great NEW colours and products.
Of course many of us will be sad to see some of our favourite colours retired - now is the time to stock up on those colours before they are gone! Check the chart to see which colours we will be saying a fond farewell to:
